My Special Considerations

*Benjamin is underweight and very nervous. He is eating well in the shelter. He would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.

Benjamin is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Very scared boy. Allows all handling but stays pancaked to the floor. They are apprehensive about the leash and may try to avoid it. When on leash, they do not walk consistently and often resist by stopping or refusing to move. With patience and positive reinforcement, they have the potential to improve significantly. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.This dog does not appear to be leash trained at this time.
