Hi, my name is *GLEN

Name's Glen, professional treat connoisseur and undisputed hide-and-seek champion. When I dream about my perfect family, I think about sharing snacks on the couch while watching TV, or maybe even curled up while my person reads a book. Don't think that because I like quiet activities I am a quiet guy though! I will let you know when I need attention or some extra treats! I'm a very thoughtful guy, always saying hello to my friends, but if we're not friends, I can be shy. Churru is my favorite! That's the quickest way for us to become best friends for sure! If you're a fan of the "found family" trope, then I'm your guy, because that's my favorite too, and I'd love for it to happen for me someday soon!

My Special Considerations

Glen is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. He is avoiding interacting with people, showing distancing behaviors such as hissing, swatting, growling. Staff members are able to handle Glen by going slowly. He might warm up with a person who is patient and offers a slow approach, especially if treats are involved. He LOVES churu treats! This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.

UPDATE: This animal has shown improvement and is responding to interventions provided. The commitment date has been removed for now however this animal would still benefit from foster, rescue, or adoption.
