Hi, my name is BRUTUS
The Animal Foundation Team is getting to know me.
My Special Considerations
Brutus is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Brutus is heavy panting and pacing back and forth in his kennel wanting out. Staff members are able to leash him up and take him out for walks. He allows all handling. Brutus is also a playgroup candidate that does well in our push and pull yard meaning he enjoys the chase and wrestling with other dogs. Brutus would benefit decompressing outside of the shelter environment to fully show his new family his true personality! He doesn't like being cooped up in his kennel however he does warm up and loosen up with staff members once out. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
