Hi there, I’m Montana — a big, calm, and gentle soul with a heart as wide as the open sky. I may be large in size, but I promise, I’m all softness and serenity on the inside.

I walk beautifully on a leash and love nothing more than taking slow, mindful strolls where I can soak in the smells, sights, and sounds of the colorful world around me. Every flower, every breeze, every sunbeam — I like to think of life as something to savor, not rush through.

I'm a very clever pup, highly treat-motivated, and know all the basic commands, including "roll over!" I came to the shelter as an owner surrender, and my former family shared wonderful things about me: I lived happily with kids of all ages and even a small dog. I'm also completely potty trained! Just a heads-up: I'm not a fan of fireworks.

When other dogs bark at me, I don’t let it shake my peace. I simply keep my head high and my heart steady as I return to my cozy spot. I see the world through blue and golden lenses — blue for the calmness I feel when I’m surrounded by trees and grass, and gold for the warmth I feel every time the sun kisses my fur.
