My Special Considerations

Shadow is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. Shadow is under bed hiding, avoiding and hissing. He tolerates minimal petting by going slowly and limiting handling. He seems to enjoy neck pets and is starting to show progress but remains tense while petting. He is very nervous of vet type handling and restraint. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
