Adoption Search
Hi, my name is DEAN
The Animal Foundation Team is getting to know me.
My Special Considerations
Dean is not adapting well in a kennel at the shelter and is exhibiting barrier frustration towards team members and other stimuli. Dean is a very sweet boy but due to the stress of the shelter he is frustrated being in his kennel. He is showing teeth and muzzle punching inconsistently. This behavior is not safe on the adoption floor. However, he does perk up when seeing the leash and is a whole new dog once outside of the kennel. He walks well, checks in with the handler, and allows and seeks all attention. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and kenneling. Due to the severity of these behaviors, this animal is transfer only. Dean is also approved for long term foster as well with a signed behavior waiver. This animal needs placement by 6/29 at 3 PM.
