Meet Penny – A Gentle, Loving Soul Looking for Her Second Chance!

Penny is a truly sweet and affectionate girl who’s ready to steal your heart. She came to us as an owner surrender, and her former family described her as 100% gentle. Penny has lived with children, is fully potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She’s also spayed and ready to go home today!

When she arrived at the shelter, Penny had several infected wounds on her back and legs. She's currently receiving treatment and lots of TLC, but she would recover much faster in the comfort of a loving home—either as a foster or forever companion.

Penny thrives on closeness and loves staying near her person. She’s easy to handle and would make a loyal and calm companion.

My Special Considerations

Penny arrived at the shelter with multiple infected wounds along her back and legs. She is being treated with systemic antibiotics and is responding to treatment well but would still benefit with a transfer to a paw partner for care.
