Hi, my name is MOSLEY
Hi there, I’m Mosely!
I might start off a little shy, but give me a minute—and maybe a treat—and you'll see my curious side come to life! I'm the kind of guy who likes to take things slow, sniff around a bit, and quietly figure out the world. Once I feel safe, I’m all in for cuddles and belly rubs (they’re kind of my thing).
I’m really good on a leash and enjoy nice, calm walks where I can explore at my own pace. I may not be the loudest pup in the pack, but I have a big heart and a gentle spirit. I’m looking for a patient, loving human who’ll let me blossom and be my sweet, snuggly self.
If you’re looking for a soft-eyed companion who just wants to love and be loved—well, I think we might be perfect for each other.
My Special Considerations
Mosley is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Mosley is worked up and frustrated in his kennel attempting to cage fight and jump towards his neighbor. Staff members are able to break his focus and get him to settle but only for a bit before he resumes behaviors. Mosley is currently working with our behavior team on basic obedience and loose leash walking. He is very treat motivated so keeping up with his training outside of the shelter should be a breeze! He is a great playgroup candidate here at the shelter. Mosley needs out of the shelter to fully decompress and allow his new family to see his true, fun, and amazing personality! This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 07/01 at 3 PM.
