This little dude might seem shy at first, but give him a minute (and a few good scratches) and he’ll be your biggest fan. He’s curious about everything, politely checks in with other dogs (as long as they’re not too loud), and is learning the ropes of the good life.

He’s currently relaxing in a foster home and working on feeling more secure when being picked up—right now, he prefers all four paws on the ground, thank you very much.

But he’s tiny, low-maintenance, and totally worth the gentle patience.
