Maverick is a sweet and gentle young pup who's patiently waiting to meet his forever family.

This handsome boy is a proud "potty dog" at the shelter, meaning he waits to go outside to do his business—so he's likely already housebroken! Maverick may start off a little reserved, but with a calm environment and a bit of patience, he begins to open up. He's still learning to enjoy treats outside his kennel, but once he's in a comfortable space, he happily accepts them.

At playgroup, Maverick shows his goofy, silly side—he enjoys the company of other dogs and isn't afraid to let loose when he's feeling safe and comfortable. He’s looking for a quieter home with a loving family who can give him the time and encouragement he needs to continue building confidence. With gentle guidance and understanding, Maverick is sure to blossom into the fun, affectionate companion he’s meant to be.
