Hi! My name is Bear! Yep, like the big, cuddly kind — and I live up to the name!

I’m a gentle giant with a heart full of love and a serious weakness for belly rubs (seriously, I’ll flop over in a second if you offer one).

Even though I’m a pretty big boy, I’m convinced I’m a lapdog. If you sit, I’ll probably climb into your lap like I’m the size of a chihuahua. It’s my favorite way to show love (and sneak in a few kisses — I give the best smooches).

I’m easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when I’m close to my people. Whether it’s lounging by your side, going for a stroll, or snuggling on the couch, I’m just happy to be part of the pack.

My Special Considerations

Bear is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
