Hi, my name is NOZY
Meet Nozy: The Office Intern You Didn’t Ask For (But Definitely Need)
Nozy spent her first few days in the shelter being a mysterious shadow—silent, elusive, dramatic. Then after a few days, she emerged from under her desk like a tiny, furry phoenix.
She's currently relaxing in a staff member's office.
She’s everywhere. Yelling about lunch breaks, knocking over pens, and dramatically yawning during meetings. She also keeps reporting minor issues to HR, like a staff member being out of uniform.
She’s part-time cat, part-time chaos goblin, and full-time attention seeker.
If you’ve ever wanted a coworker who won’t stop talking, has no boundaries, and will fall asleep on your keyboard with zero remorse… congratulations, she’s ready for her forever office (we mean home).
My Special Considerations
Nozy is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. Nozy came in with history of attempting to attack the owners grandson by hissing and swatting causing a scratch. She is very tense and hissy with staff here at the shelter. Due to the shelter stress and moving throughout the shelter her behavior has started to decline. She has shown some positive interactions with staff since being moved with her littermates, she does exhibits signs of arousal and can become hissy. However, with gentle and quiet interactions she comes up seeking attention and allows handling. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 6/29 by 3pm
UPDATE: This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention. The commitment date is being extended from 6/26 to 6/29.
