My Special Considerations

Chimino is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Chimino has made drastic improvement from when first arriving to the shelter. At first, he was extremely defensive in his kennel. Hard barking, puckered lips, avoiding. Since then he has shown small glimpses of his personality. He is currently on a intervention plan to help socialize him, he has become more playful with staff with slow interactions. He is a goofy boy that just needs time and patience. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
