Hi there, I'm Lotus! I’m a gentle soul with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to share it with. I might seem a little shy when we first meet—I like to take my time to feel safe—but I’m also very curious. I’ll quietly watch you, sniff the air, and maybe take a step or two closer… and before you know it, I’m walking right beside you, pressing into your leg for comfort.

My Special Considerations

Lotus is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. She is a lovely pup who is growing more stressed in the kennel. She is panting, pacing, barking, and jumping. She is a playgroup candidate who enjoys playing with other dogs. She is becoming more restless in her kennel despite interventions. When she first arrived to the shelter, she was fearful and would avoid team members. Now, she is less fearful and more anxious. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
