Adoption Search
Hi, my name is *MARLOW
Come and meet Marlow, a sweet, shy boy who needs a little time to warm up and trust new people.
Marlow is a diligent fella who likes to take care of business first! He was very fearful when he first arrived at the shelter, but with patience, his gentle nature shines through.
When he first goes out, Marlow dedicates a good amount of time to sniffing around, ensuring he finds the perfect spot for his potty business. Once his duties are done, his playful side emerges – he'll happily chase a toy and take treats (which he takes very gently!).
He loves treats, and they're a great way to build a bond with him. He also walks really well on the leash.
Marlow is in search of a calm home that will give him the time and patience to decompress and truly feel safe.
Come meet Marlow and see if you're the special person who can help this sweet boy blossom! If you need more time to get to know him, ask us about our Foster Field Trip, Foster, and Foster-to-Adopt programs.
My Special Considerations
*Marlow is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Marlow came in very scared and unsure of the world. When he first arrived, staff was not able to get a leash on and take out of the kennel. After the second day of staff attempting, they were finally able to get the leash on and take out. He will approach staff on his own, but is still unsure about the pets. Takes treats very gently when they are offered. Marlow has made a lot of progress with his time here at the shelter with such a short stay, but he still needs some time to decompress to blossom into an amazing companion. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
