Bethany is a shining example of why shelter behavior doesn’t always tell the full story. Though originally flagged for being barrier reactive, this young pup showed nothing but love, gentleness, and a joyful spirit once out of the shelter setting.

After just one night in a foster home, Bethany showed us exactly who she is:

Dog-Friendly Superstar – She got along beautifully with two large-breed dogs, including one energetic husky who tends to overwhelm other dogs. Bethany handled it like a pro—no reactivity, just gentle curiosity and happy play.

Crate Trained & Housebroken – She slept through the night without a peep and did all her business outside like a champ.

Affectionate & Playful – From excited car kisses to curling up beside another pup at bedtime, Bethany is as sweet as they come.

Calm & Social – While shy at first, she quickly warms up. She met new people and shared nothing but love and kisses.

Good Eater – She's got a healthy appetite and eats both kibble and canned food with enthusiasm.

Bethany is a well-mannered, emotionally intelligent puppy who thrives outside of the shelter. She's energetic, social, and just wants to be loved. She’s ready to find her forever home who can give her the consistency, affection, and playtime she adores. Bethany truly deserves the chance to grow into the amazing dog she’s already showing herself to be.
