Hi, my name is *DYLAN
Hi there, I’m Dylan!
I might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up to you, you'll see I'm full of love and playful energy. I’ve got a soft spot for tennis balls—throw one and I’m on it! Chasing them is one of my favorite things in the world.
I walk pretty well on a leash and really enjoy going on sniffing adventures. There’s so much to explore out there, and my nose is always ready to lead the way! I’m a curious pup who likes to take my time checking out the world around me.
I can get a little anxious and vocal around new dogs—it’s just that I’m still learning how to feel safe and confident in new situations. With a little patience and understanding, I know I can keep making progress.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who just needs a bit of extra reassurance, I might be your guy. Come meet me—I’ve got a wagging tail and a tennis ball ready just for you!
My Special Considerations
*Dylan is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. *Dylan is becoming frustrated in his kennel. He is starting to be reactive towards other dogs and is attempting to cage fight with his neighbor. His focus is able to be broken. Additionally, he does come to playgroup and is with our fearful group. He can be defensive with pushy and overly playful dogs. This is something we are working on him with to build is confidence and learn how to be a dog. He really would thrive outside of the shelter. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
