Come meet Rex, a wonderful dog whose playful spirit will instantly win you over! Don't let his estimated age of 9 years fool you – he's got the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger pup. While he enjoys chasing a ball, his true passion is playing and chasing soft, squeaky toys!

Rex is a smart boy who knows his commands by both voice and pointing, confidently showing off his "sit" and "lay down." After a good play session, he'll happily accept a treat from you, as he definitely loves his snacks! You'll be happy to know he's also a potty-trained dog here at the shelter and walks really well on the leash. Rex would make a fantastic walking buddy.

Rex would love to spend the day, a night, or even longer with you! He's been on a few field trips and we learned that he likes going on walks, playing with toys, going on car rides, and getting treats. Rex is a very curious, energentic, and lovable dog. He likes outdoor adventures, is great in the car, and is a huge cuddlebug! His leash skills are pretty good; minor pulling! Rex loves to walk, explore, and be petted. He very much loves to be loved and has a great amount of energy! He is a really good walking buddy and would do amazing with someone who loves the outdoors!
