My Special Considerations

Avie is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. Avie is not allowing staff to get close to her to handle. She is showing distance increasing behaviors such as attempting to swat. This could be caused by the shelter environment. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
