Hi, my name is JACK
Meet Jack – Your New Best Friend in His Golden Years
Jack is a gentle senior boy with a heart full of love and a simple wish: a calm, cozy home where he can enjoy the rest of his days surrounded by care and kindness. He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels your warmth, he’s quick to show his sweet and loyal nature.
This easygoing guy doesn’t ask for much—just a comfy spot to rest, some tasty treats (his favorite!), and someone to love on him. Jack is already neutered and ready to go home today! He’s a reliable potty dog at the shelter and knows several commands like sit, give paw, and lay down—proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
If you're looking for a low-key companion who will quietly steal your heart, Jack may be your perfect match. Not quite sure yet? Ask us about our Foster Field Trip, Foster, or Foster-to-Adopt programs—you might find it hard to say goodbye once you meet him.
Adopt this dog and receive a scholarship for 5 weeks of free group training classes! These classes are taught by a certified trainer at the shelter. Our Bark to Basics classes cover basic obedience, manners, and leash skills. Ask an adoption counselor for details. This offer is available for this dog only. My Special Considerations
Jack is a sweet boy who has been in our care since 5/19 and would love to spend a day, a night, or even longer with you! Jack's previous foster stated that he was potty trained, house broken, and goes into a crate with treats. He's treat motivated, walks nicely on a leash, enjoys hanging out on the couch and snuggling. Come by and meet him today!
A previous foster told us that he had the best day ever on a foster field trip! "I got to go to Petsmart and get a toy! Then I went to the park. Three words to describe me are calm, smart, and loving. I like to play in water - I got to enjoy playing with a sprinkler! I'm great in the car - my foster appreciated that I did not try to climb onto her lap. I like to play with toys. My foster thinks I'm a couch potato. I'm very calm and laid back. My leash skills make me an expert!"
