Hi, my name is *STORMIE

Meet Stormie, a sweet girl with a youthful spirit! This energetic pup is a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means she waits to go outside to do her business and is probably housebroken.

She absolutely loves a good game of chase with a ball – just don't expect her to bring it back (that's part of her charm!).

Stormie is smart too, already knowing commands like sit, give paw, and lay down, especially when there are tasty treats involved.

Stormie loves to lead the way on walks, and she's always up for an adventure. When other dogs pass by, she can get a little excited, but she's a quick learner; a call to you and a treat will easily redirect her focus.

My Special Considerations

*Stormie is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. She is starting to heavily fecal track throughout her kennel and is also starting to pant wanting out of her kennel. *Stormie is a great playgroup candidate that can switch up her play styles to the other dogs currently in the yard. She does well with our gentle dainty friends as well as the rough push and pulls. *Stormie works daily with our Behavior team to work on basic obedience and loose leash walking. She is very treat motivated so continuing her training outside of the shelter should be a breeze! Outside of her kennel *Stormie is an amazing dog that allows all handling and seeks more attention from staff. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
