We’re not sure why King’s here at the shelter—because this sweet boy is the full package! Friendly, playful, and easy to handle, King is the kind of dog who wins hearts the moment he steps outside.

During his walk, he was curious about his surroundings, loved meeting new people, and soaked up all the pets and attention from shelter visitors.

According to his previous owner, King is housebroken and comfortable being home alone for a full workday. King arrived at the shelter on April 30, 2025, and while we can't guarantee his behavior in a new home, he’s been showing staff and volunteers every day that he’s more than ready to settle into a long term home.

While he’ll still need time to decompress like any dog, we think he’ll transition beautifully. If you're looking for an active, people-loving pup who’s already got some great manners, King could be your perfect match.
