VULPIX

Hi, my name is VULPIX

The Animal Foundation Team is getting to know me.

My Special Considerations

Vulpix is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Vulpix was surrendered to us by his family with another dog. He is showing signs of distress in the kennel. He is jumping high on the kennel almost hitting his head on the top. Vulpix is also heavily panting and has a lot of fecal tracking in the kennel. Staff is unable to get him to settle in the kennel whether it be with treats or enrichment. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 4/29 at 3 PM.

UPDATE: This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention. The commitment date is being extended from 4/27 to 4/29
