Hi, my name is JAX
Jax is an 8-year-old, 94-pound fluffball of love who just wants to be near his people. This handsome hunk is all about affection—he’ll lean into you for pets and happily settle by your feet, soaking up every bit of attention.
He came to us as an owner surrender, and it’s clear he was well-loved. His previous family shared that he’s potty trained, knows a bunch of commands, and is a perfect gentleman when left home alone—quietly napping and waiting for your return. It was also noted that he previously lived with a small dog.
Though Jax is carrying a little extra weight, nothing a few daily walks and a healthy routine can’t fix. He’ll need a family who’s going to help him get to a healthy weight.
Whether he’s nudging you for more head scratches or lighting up when you bring out a squeaky ball, Jax is simply looking for a soft place to land and someone to love. Could that be you? He’s already neutered and ready to go home with you!
My Special Considerations
This is Jax!
He is the sweetest boy who’s just looking for a cozy spot and someone to love. He can be tense and stressed in the kennel at the shelter, but once he's out, his gentle and affectionate.
He regularly goes to playgroup and his previous foster reports that he got along well in their home with their owned dogs and even their Guinea Pigs.
Jax was calm and laid back in his foster home, was housetrained, and knew some basic commands. He previously lived with a small dog and travels great in the car. He does prefer to eat alone and isn’t a fan of nail trims.
