Hi, my name is *HUMMINGBIRD
Meet Hummingbird - A Sweet and Shy Soul Seeking a Peaceful Haven!
This young girl, Hummingbird, is in search of a gentle and understanding foster or forever home where she can decompress and slowly blossom at her own pace.
If you have a calm home and a patient heart, you could be the perfect person to help Hummingbird find her true self.
Here's what you should know about this delicate girl:
Hummingbird needs a calm and supportive atmosphere.
She requires a quiet and peaceful home where she can de-stress and gradually feel more secure.
She walks well on a leash, which will be a lovely way for her to explore her new surroundings at her own comfort level.
Building trust will take time and patience, but the rewards of seeing her open up will be immeasurable.
The shelter environment is causing Hummingbird a great deal of stress, emphasizing her urgent need for a quiet home where she can truly relax and thrive.
My Special Considerations
Humming bird is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress.
Humming bird is nervous, scared and tense when staff is leashing and handling her. She is very nervous of people but does allow all handling. She is tense and will pancake on the floor. She is a playgroup candidate who is starting to warm up with other dogs. She may not be leashed trained. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. Littermates A1368282
Being treated for a respiratory infection. Will need medication and isolation from other dogs through at least 5/9
