Meet Justine, Your Future Cuddle Buddy! Justine is a sweet, affectionate girl who’s ready to soak up all the love she’s been missing. When she gets selected for a walk, she’s so thrilled to finally be out and about — and it shows! She starts her walks with a burst of excitement (and might pull a little at first), but it's just her joy at having the chance to explore again. When playtime is over, Justine's favorite thing in the world is being close to her people. She’ll happily flop onto her back, flashing her irresistible puppy-dog eyes, and wait for those much-needed belly rubs. She’s a true cuddle bug who will steal your heart the moment you meet her. Justine would thrive in a home where she gets regular walks, plenty of playtime, mental stimulation, and, most importantly, a family who will shower her with the love and attention she deserves. My Special Considerations

*Justine is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Justine is having heavy fecal tracking in her kennel where her feces are coving the floor and wall. She is also cagefighting with her neighbors. She is started to circle in her kennel and show some compulsive behaviors. She is very sweet outside her kennel and loves treats. She seeks attention and is smart. She has made some improvement with interventions. She loves to play outside. She knows sit and down with treats. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 4/29 by 3pm

Being treated for a respiratory infection. Will need medication and isolation from other dogs through at least 4/26

UPDATE: This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention. The commitment date is being extended from 4/27 to 4/29
