She is a sweet and gentle girl who takes a little time to feel comfortable in new situations.

While cautious initially, she will warm up to you with a bit of gentle interaction.

She has discerning taste when it comes to treats!

Mai Tai is easy to walk on the leash and will stay right by your side.

She's very attentive on walks and will watch your every move, showing her desire to stay connected.

Her greatest wish is to be with her human.

She enjoys receiving affection once she feels comfortable with you.

She is looking for a loving home that will provide her with the time and space she needs to decompress and build confidence.

With her easy leash manners, she has the potential to be a wonderful walking buddy.

My Special Considerations

*Mai Tai is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. She is panting in her kennel and is jumping and standing on her kennel door, she is also smearing the glass of her kennel heavily. Once she is out of the kennel, she allows all handling, she is also a current playgroup candidate. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
