My Special Considerations

Maple is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Maple is whining and high pitch demand barking in the kennel. She came in with another dog as an owner surrender. Staff has been able to leash and take out of the kennel. She allows all handling and seeks attention while jumping on staff. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
