My Special Considerations

Sam is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Sam is alert barking in the kennel and seems unsure of staff when first interacting with him. Same has been able to leash and walks out on his own. He allows all handling. With each interaction with staff, he starts to warm up more and more. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
