Hi, my name is *PEANUT
Say hello to Peanut, a delightful bundle of energy and sweetness!
This playful boy loves nothing more than chasing toys and is always up for a fun game. Training is a breeze with Peanut, as he's highly motivated by treats and already knows several commands like "sit," "paw," "lay down," and "come." While "stay" is still a work in progress, his intelligence and eagerness to learn mean he'll likely master it in no time with consistent practice.
Peanut is an energetic young dog who's on the lookout for someone who can keep up with his zest for life and provide him with the time and patience he needs. With his smarts and quick learning abilities, he'll thrive with both mental and physical exercise to keep him happy and well-behaved.
It's important to remember that when Peanut first arrives in his new home, he'll need some time to decompress and adjust to his new surroundings.
Come down and meet this charming boy today and see if it's a perfect match. Be sure to ask about our foster field trip, foster, or foster-to-adopt programs – these options offer a wonderful opportunity to spend more quality time getting to know each other and ensuring a perfect fit.
My Special Considerations
This friend came into our care with a swollen/injured carpus. Radiographs showed metal opacity material in his carpus and scattered throughout his right front limb consistent with an old BB pellet or gun shot wound. Additionally, their right humerus has abnormal changes that could be related to the projectile trauma or other concerns. Radiographs can be made available to any interested paw partners. *Peanut is responding to medical management and would benefit from a total of 6-8 weeks cage rest to allow his injury to heal.
