Meet Henry – the 3 year old, 70-pound bundle of joy who’s never met a bad day!

This goofy, playful, and energetic boy is all about good vibes and living life to the fullest. Whether he’s trotting around with his tongue out (which, let’s be honest, is basically every day for Henry) or plopping himself into a shallow pool to cool off, this happy guy knows how to have a good time.

Henry is the kind of pup who doesn’t need toys to entertain himself—he finds joy in the simple things, like shoving his big ol’ butt into you for some well-earned pets. It’s his signature move, and it’s impossible not to smile when he does it.

While we’re still getting to know all of Henry’s quirks, one thing’s for sure: his zest for life is contagious. He’d thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a big-hearted, fun-loving sidekick to share the adventure.

My Special Considerations

Henry is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He is panting, jumping, fecal tracking, whining and barking. He pulls on leash but responds well to training and enjoys treats. He is showing signs of stress in the kennel including circling and pacing. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
