Meet Rosie: A Sweet, Affectionate Gem Ready to Shine in Her Forever Home!

Rosie is a truly special girl who's waiting to blossom in a loving home! This affectionate beauty responds to her name and greets you with patient anticipation at her kennel door, eager for a walk and some love.

While Rosie enjoys her walks and is a true sweetheart, showering her favorite people with gentle kisses and approaching readily for pets.

She might take a moment to warm up to new faces, but once you crouch down to her level, her affectionate nature shines through, and she'll be right there for cuddles.

This treat-loving girl is also a smart cookie! She knows the "sit" command and is making great progress with "lay down." And when it comes to playtime, Rosie's eyes light up! She absolutely loves chasing and retrieving balls, bringing them back with enthusiasm.

My Special Considerations

Rosie is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. She is very scared in her kennel and will avoid staff for the first several minutes, she is also high jumping in her kennel. Once she is out of the kennel it can take another several minutes before she lets staff touch her. Once she does calm down, she does allow petting. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 4/4 by 3pm

UPDATE: This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention 4/1-4/4 by 4pm
