Meet Rosie: A Sweet, Affectionate Gem Ready to Shine in Her Forever Home!

Rosie is a truly special girl who's waiting to blossom in a loving home! This affectionate beauty responds to her name and greets you with patient anticipation at her kennel door, eager for a walk and some love.

While Rosie enjoys her walks and is a true sweetheart, showering her favorite people with gentle kisses and approaching readily for pets.

She might take a moment to warm up to new faces, but once you crouch down to her level, her affectionate nature shines through, and she'll be right there for cuddles.

This treat-loving girl is also a smart cookie! She knows the "sit" command and is making great progress with "lay down." And when it comes to playtime, Rosie's eyes light up! She absolutely loves chasing and retrieving balls, bringing them back with enthusiasm.

Here's what Rosie's foster had to say! "She's definitely a sweetheart though and I do hope she finds her forever home soon. She enjoys walks and does well on them. She loves playing but doesn't like sharing toys. She just recently started showing interest with playing with our dogs but mostly likes to relax. She's very gentle when taking treats and knows "shake" when getting a treat."

My Special Considerations

Rosie is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. She can be timid when first meeting new people but warms up with time, patience, and treats. She is high jumping in her kennel. She cage fights with her neighbors, but is a playgroup candidate. Rosie is a little unsure of new dogs but with time and proper introductions has done well. She is not super playful with other dogs; she prefers calm friends. She did very well in a foster home but cannot cope with the shelter environment. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
