Hi, my name is *FLUFFY

Fluffy may not have the long, flowing hair one would expect from a stray named Fluffy, but he does have a big, sweet, vulnerable heart just waiting for a home to heal in.

His wise face begs to be loved and cherished the way all dogs should be. Fluffy could use some home cooked meals to put a little weight on and is on the scared side here in the shelter but with the help of some tasty treats, he'll cozy on up and accept pets from his people. He'd do well in a patient and kind home that can help him on his road to physical and emotional recovery, where he can rebuild his confidence and truly be where he belongs. Fluffy is available for foster or adoption.

My Special Considerations

Fluffy is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Fluffy is very fearful in the shelter environment with all the loud noises. She requires a slower approach when staff first unlocks her kennel. Fluffy is very flinchy to fast and loud movements. Staff members are able to leash and take out to a play yard. Once outside Fluffy warms up with staff members and allows all handling and seeks more pets and attention. Fluffy needs time in a loving home to decompress from the shelter environment and loud noises. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.

Additionally, this friend is now being treated for a respiratory infection. They will need oral medications and isolation from other dogs until ~4/4.
