Hi, my name is *MR. HANDSOME
Meet Mr. Handsome!
This adventurous and affectionate boy is looking for a loving home where he can thrive! Mr. Handsome loves exploring the outdoors—whether it’s a walk in the park, a scenic hike, or a jog by your side. He enjoys leading the way, and occasionally pulls on leash, but responds well to gentle guidance on the leash. With some patience and training, he'll be an even better walking companion.
Mr. Handsome is generally non-reactive to other dogs, making him a great addition to pack walks and outdoor adventures. He recently went on a foster field trip and remained unfazed by other dogs and showing little interest in them, proving he’s a laid-back explorer. After a fun day out, he’s more than happy to cuddle up on the couch and soak in some affection. While he may be a bit sensitive about head touches at first, he warms up with time and trust—his foster even got some head scratches in! Once he’s comfortable, he loves giving hugs and showing just how sweet he is.
Shelter life has been tough on Mr. Handsome, and he’s showing signs of stress and anxiety in his kennel. He would do best in a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and secure, and where he has his favorite humans with him.. With love, structure, and positive reinforcement, he will flourish into the perfect adventure and cuddle buddy.
Come meet Mr. Handsome today—he’s ready to find his forever family!
My Special Considerations
*Mr. Handsome is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the Shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He is very vocal in his kennel, whining, barking, and howling while heavy panting. He calms slightly with attention but is very distressed in this new environment. *Mr. Handsome would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
