My Special Considerations

*Shira is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. *Shira is constantly jumping up on her doors and whining seeking out of her kennel. She is very friendly and social with staff members and staff is able to leash her up and take her to a side yard with no issues. She allows all handling. She is a playgroup candidate that does best with our gentle and dainty friends. Once she returns back into her kennel she resumes stressy behaviors and is starting to paw at her door. *Shira needs time outside of the shelter to decompress from the stressful environment. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
