STELLA

Hi, my name is STELLA

Meet the captain of the cheerleading team and Homecoming Queen, Stella!

She's a bubbly, outgoing girl who loves to make new friends. While she has an independent side, Stella loves people and getting pets and booty scratches. Here at the shelter, she always greets her canine friends with tail wags and friendly interest. She's a potty-dog so she's likely already house trained.

At about 4 years old, she's at the perfect age to have balanced energy and impulse control-she'll happily go for walks, say hi to the neighbors and then meet you on the couch to keep up with those Kardashians! Stella is available for foster or adoption and could also benefit from a foster field trip! Come down and meet her today!

My Special Considerations

Stella has been at The Animal Foundation since 03/03/25 and would love to find a foster, adopter, or paw partner to welcome her into their care. She loves attention and loves to be outside. She is very treat motivated as well.

Stella is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Stella is having difficulty in her kennel. She is demand barking, panting, and sometimes standing on her kennel door. Stella has a good kennel routine and door routine. She does well on loose leash walking. Stella LOVES treats, fetch, and pools of water. Stella is a very sweet girl. She also comes to playgroup. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.

Information from a foster home - Stella is a well mannered, friendly girl. She was perfect in the car and loves herself a good walk. She has an independent side  and keeps her nose to the ground, excited to see her surroundings. We did pass small dogs that barked at her and she was behaved. After her walk we went to Mac Donald’s for a much deserved treat. She loved chicken nuggets. This girl is also very affectionate and has a gentle nature.

Available for Adoption, long term Foster, Foster Field Trip program. Come by and meet her today!
