Once upon a time, there was Elsey, a senior princess in need of her happily ever after! This sweet girl is looking for a forever home where she can be pampered and helped to gain some much-needed weight. Elsey, like any true princess, adores treats and is highly motivated by them. She knows "sit," walks gracefully on a leash, and is easy to handle. This royal companion loves to greet everyone she meets. Come and meet Elsey, and help her write her own fairy tale ending!

My Special Considerations

This old gal came into our care severely emaciated (thin), vomiting, and with a bloated abdomen. Radiographs showed a severely distended stomach with what is a mixture of food and foreign material (likely secondary to gorging on whatever she was able to find to eat). Recheck radiographs have showed improvement with no signs of obstruction at this time. She is in need of monitoring to ensure she continues to pass her gastric contents normally in addition to a geriatric work-up (bloodwork, dental, etc).
