Hi, my name is COOPER
The Animal Foundation Team is getting to know me.
My Special Considerations
*Cooper is exhibiting signs of arousal and anxiety in the shelter environment and is having a hard time adapting. He was brought to the shelter by animal protection services for potentially biting a child however, the details of this incident were never confirmed or verified. At the shelter, Cooper is anxious and aroused in his kennel; he is barking, jumping, panting, whining, with pupils dilated and pilo erection. He seeks attention, enjoys petting and affection, and loves treats. He is jumpy and excited with team members. He is a high energy, young pup who needs exercise, mental stimulation, and an outlet for his energy. This animal would benefit from an environment with less stimulation and some training to help them cope with over arousing stimuli and anxiety.
