Hi, my name is PRINCETON
Princeton is a good-natured boy brimming with personality! He loves to play fetch and will drop the ball in your hand like a gentleman. But when your arm is worn out, he's just as happy to plop down on his back and use his front paws to drop the ball into his own mouth or roll around on it for a little myofascial release after a long game of fetch. There's more to Princeton than his joyful personality though! He's a very well-mannered boy who is easy to walk on the leash, happily greets people and dogs and knows commands like "sit" and "paw". He is also a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means he waits to go outside to do his business and is likely potty trained. He's an easy-going boy who is looking for a loving family to call his own. Princeton is neutered and available to come home today for foster or adoption!
My Special Considerations
Princeton is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Princeton is becoming very anxious in his kennel eager to get out. He is starting to jump up at his doors whining and pawing. Staff members are able to leash him up with no issues and take him out for walks. He does his own thing in the yard but allows all handling and will seek more attention and pets with staff. He is very treat motivated so training should be a breeze! He is great walking companion that doesn't pull on his leash. He is a playgroup candidate that does well with our push and pull friends. Princeton needs time outside of the shelter to fully decompress from his new surroundings. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
