My Special Considerations

Star is not adapting well in a kennel at the shelter and is exhibiting barrier frustration and on leash reactivity towards team members and other stimuli. Star is such a sweet girl that seeks constant attention and pets from staff members. She is very easy to leash up and take outside to a play yard. Star is very treat motivated and already knows "sit." Training should be a breeze! She is a playgroup candidate that enjoys being in the yard with other dogs. We feel Star would benefit being in a loving home outside of the shelter environment to give her time to decompress and warm up to her new surroundings. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and kenneling.
