Meet Melody, a sweet and gentle older gal who will steal your heart!

This smart dog knows her basic commands and is highly treat-motivated, making her a joy to train. Melody is easy to handle and walks wonderfully on a leash, making her the perfect walking buddy. She's also ready to be your best cuddle buddy while you relax and watch your favorite TV show.

I'm currently relaxing in foster care, and loving it!! Here's what my foster family has said about my time in foster care!

"Melody is a VERY sweet and loving baby - she likes nothing more than to have contact with a human. Snuggling, getting scratches, belly rubs, giving kisses are a regular every day!

She also LOVES going for a long daily walk as well as playing tug-o-war and keep away with a rope toy we have.

She’s very well potty trained - no accidents in the house and will go every time we let her out back, even if she’d just been out 10 minutes earlier.

She does not seem to mind proximity to quiet, respectful dogs, but gets very anxious anytime there are dogs barking behind fences on our walks/runs.

That reminds me - she loves to run as well, to the extent that I’ll run with her on a “walk”. When taken to a fenced dog park, she doesn’t run full sprint but does like to trot around and enjoy the freedom of movement.

Overall, she’s very happy, well adjusted, and perhaps spoiled ?? She just needs a little work to not be as reactive to other dogs, which we’re working with her on.

She will make an excellent addition to anyone’s family as long as they’re willing and able to exercise and be loved by her every day!"
