Adoption Search
Hi, my name is *FRANCINE
Francine is a dignified adult lady of about 6 years old. Her eyeliner is on fleek and she's been practicing her strut like she's auditioning to represent the House of Dior for fashion week! If you're looking for a calm, independent companion, look no further!
But as far as models go, she's not the unapproachable type by any means. Francine just takes a little time to let her hair down when she meets new people. After all, you never know when the paparazzi are lurking around the corner, trying to catch a superstar rolling in the dirt or catching up on her personal hygiene! Francine is available for foster or adoption and patiently waiting for someone to come and take her away from it all!
I am currently at the shelter and available, but I did leave the shelter with a foster family and had a great time! I'm looking for a forever family with a space in their hearts and home. Here's what my foster family had to say about my time in foster care!
" - Activities Done: Walked at sunset park and Anthem Hills park
- Car Rides: She did very well on car rides. She will stick her head out the window with the biggest smile. If it’s a longer ride she’ll fall asleep and snore a little.
- Leash Activity: She walks like a dream on the leash. It’s rare for her to ever not have slack. She won’t pull at all and will walk practically attached to your hip.
Francine did amazing on her field trip. She is a very quiet dog and very independent. Whether it was adults, kids, or animals that came up to her, nothing would phase her. But don’t let her calm demeanor fool you, if she doesn’t like something, she’ll let you know by talking back to you. When we stopped for water or to sit down at a park, this active dog would howl and groan until you got up and started moving again.
This dog was so calm around other dogs that even when a reactive dog walked by and was wanting to play with her, she didn’t skip a beat and kept walking with me. She doesn’t mind being pet but prefers her own space. Except when food is involved. Then she wants all the love she can get in hopes that your love extends to the food you’re eating.
Overall, this older dog has plenty of life left in her. She would thrive in an active household that’s looking for a trained dog."
