My Special Considerations

Asa Blue is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Asa Blue is a very timid boy. His tail was tucked and he was lip licking when staff would approach his kennel. Seemed to be unsure when staff would approach him, but started to approach staff on his own. He really loves treats and already knows some basic comands. Started to warm up with staff when offering toys such as tennis balls and squeaky toys. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
