Adoption Search
Hi, my name is *NEW YEAR'S
New Year's Day is a beautiful 7-year-old Pit Bull with soulful eyes and a gentle spirit. She's a bit of a wallflower, preferring quiet moments and gentle affection to boisterous play. New Year's Day is seeking a patient and understanding adopter who can provide a calm and loving environment where she can truly blossom. She may be shy initially, but her sweet nature shines through with a little time and trust. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will cherish quiet evenings and gentle cuddles, New Year's Day might just be the perfect match for you.
My Special Considerations
New year's is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. She is scared: frozen, whale eye, tense, avoiding, and cowering. Once out of the kennel, she warms up and allows handling. She is head shy and does not prefer having her head reached over; it makes her extra nervous. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
