This playful pup is all about fun, and will be sure to keep you smiling and laughing. He’s got that classic puppy energy and loves to bounce and play his heart out.

Tennis balls are his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily chase them to his heart’s content. Blitzen is a big fan of attention and won’t hesitate to lean into your legs and give you the puppy-eyes for some well-deserved petting. He thrives on love and will gladly soak up all the affection you can give.

He has gone to playgroup and has been social with other dogs at the shelter.

He is also a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means he waits to go outside to do his business and is likely housebroken.

If you’re looking for a spirited, affectionate companion who’s ready to bring lots of joy (and maybe a little mischief) into your life, Blitzen is your guy! He is treat motivated and has learned how to "sit". Come meet him and see how quickly he’ll steal your heart.

My Special Considerations

*Blitzen is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He hard barks at staff members walking by. He does allow all handling when out of his kennel. He is also a current playgroup candidate. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
