My Special Considerations

Doffy is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Doffy was surrendered to us here at the shelter. He is very nervous and scared of new people. Tolerates handling from staff, but starts to approach staff on his own. He is also showing anxious behaviors including constant panting, pacing, circling in kennel, digging and biting his water bowl and jumping. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 11/26 at 3 PM.
