Hi, my name is KINGSTON
Meet Kingston!
This old chap still has plenty of spring in his step for a 10-year-old with arthritis! He loves to go out for walks, although they tend to be shorter than what his younger friends can do. He LOVES treats almost as much as he loves getting affection from his people. If you see him around campus, he'll probably be jogging after a person, trying to meet new people with his little nubbin of a tail going a mile-a-minute.
Kingston is very personable and outgoing and is hoping that someone recognizes how special he is in spite of the lumps, bumps and pains that come with age. He walks well on the leash and is bright-eyed and attentive. Kingston is neutered and is looking for a committed foster or forever home!
My Special Considerations
This happy boy has a couple masses (including one on his right eyelid), some dental disease, and an ear infection. He had x-rays done of his elbows, hips, and knees while here at TAF. We found that he has significant arthritis in these places, and he will need chronic management of this issue. He would also benefit from an orthopedic consultation regarding his left elbow, as this is the area his arthritis is most severe. We need to place him by 11/26 at 3 PM.
