SABRINA

Hi, my name is SABRINA

I'm currently relaxing in foster care, and loving it!! Here's what my foster family had to say about my time in foster care!

"She's such a sweetheart, loves to cuddle and receive pets, belly rubs, gives paw just because. She is so filled with love. Any household who gets her is really hitting the sweetie, perfect dog jackpot."

"She's very gentle and respectful around our resident 12 year old bulldog, too. No issues with resource guarding, no food aggression, just chill and hangs out. We haven't yet tested toys in same room, but when we have Sabrina her own toy by herself, she had the best time shaking it around, tossing it up for herself and catching, so gentle chewing on it. (It's a stuffed caterpillar squeaker toy.)"

"Loves a neighborhood walk, not a scent to be missed, sniffs everything. Very responsive to verbal cues and is mostly good on leash. When she pulls it's because she's excited to go sniff the next thing along the path, and is very responsive to corrections. And when she's not excited for a walk, she's just laying around, a nice nap, a relaxing hang out where the sun shines through."

"Has done great meeting strangers and also riding in car. Sabrina is a bit of a picky eater and does not like all treats, but when it's something she loves such as chicken or salmon, she's so over it. She takes food and treats so gently, it's adorable."

"Sleeps through the night in her crate. Potty trained, no accidents in house at all. We haven't had her long enough to really assess separation anxiety, but it does not appear to be bad. We've left her for short periods to go to grocery store and she's only a little fussy in her crate (we keep a camera on her), but eventually settles down. She seems like she'd actually be ok left outside the crate, but we're erring on side of caution, especially as we have a resident dog who roams free."

"Sabrina does not react to other dogs on walks and does great walking with our bulldog. She will invite other pups to play, though we haven't allowed her thus far. Is unreactive to birds, but is definitely on high alert with bunnies. One was in our yard and she dashed to chase after it. We have a fenced in yard so it's fine, but it would have been an issue if Sabrina were just out in open land. She's always on harness on walks."

"She does shed quite a bit, especially after a nice belly rub or petting session, so that'll be important for prospective adopter to know. Definitely have to vacuum every so often ??."
