My Special Considerations

Sky is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.

Sky has been in isolation for a respiratory infection for over 2 weeks (beyond the contagious period for most organisms, including the common respiratory pathogen found on her respiratory test). She is still coughing and may need additional veterinary care.

11/12 Update: Thoracic radiographs confirmed pneumonia. Sky is in need of medical management and supportive care outside of the stressful shelter environment as she recovers from her pneumonia. Radiographs can be provided to any interested paw partners.
